So I played Chess Titans other day and it claimed a draw even though it hadn't made the same move with the king three times in a row. How could it claim a draw? This has happened many times before btw. >:(

Doesn't have to be three moves consecutively. If the king has to make the same move three times in any order without checkmate then the game is drawn.

Ah, I see your point, only when I learnt to play chess a long time ago I'm sure the rule was three moves in a row, or consecutively. I'll look it up online to find out...

How long is 'a long time ago'? The three move repetition rule hasn't meant three moves in a row for many, many decades.

Hmmm, must have remembered it wrong then, only somehow in my rusty old noodle was three moves in a row. :P

No problem. Maybe you were playing against someone that mistakenly said that was the rule?
