I've been thinking of creating a new EU account, but highly dependent on if the loot dist is any better. So should I sign-up again?

Had an account for some eight yrs up until 03/19 and loot was better in the last two years or so than it was for most of the 10's. Reason I gave up in the end, was hardly anyone was in the game! :-X

I still play (sorry won't say what in-game name is) occasionally if I've got some spare time on my hands, but wouldn't say the loot's much better than it ever was. Thing's still heavily rigged in MA's favor with miss-hits and 'creature can't be reached' rubbish, which mean can't be looted lol! Don't join just for the loot!

Never played myself, but so far the advice seems to be don't sign-up again just in the hope of more loot... :P

This just about does it for me. Won't be signing-up again if no one's playing.

I just created an EU account two days ago, first time I played, and I'm getting some loot every time I kill a creature. Also the graphics are some of the best I've seen in a mmo game.

Hope you enjoy your time in EU, although they must have changed the loot distribution since I closed my account some months ago if you're saying you get loot every mob kill. I agree with you about the graphics though, which was very good!

That's good if you're getting loot every time, but how many AVs did you see in the locations you went to? A lot, or just a few here and there?

I saw a good ten or so at the starting place on Calypso and a few here and there at Fort Atlantis with the huge tower near the coast, but then I've only been to a few areas so far.

It's a 3D mmo made up of a number of planets with fairly good graphics in which you can do various stuff like hunting, crafting, mining, but can be difficult to get to the top due to a hard skill-gain system. Has great vehicles though which is a plus I suppose.;)

Sounds quite good and I also did some SEing on it, but you stopped playing because the loot was no good, right?

That was the main reason, not enough ppl playing was another. But always getting loot doing hunting might change my mind, but dunno...

I've been playing almost a week now and every mob has looted, although this is using the TT carbine against very low level mobs. Don't know if this is the case with higher level one's. Mind you, veterans I've been chatting to do say that getting loot was much harder a few years back.

Yer, I also thought it was odd that Mindark didn't seem to advertise EU which would explain why it doesn't have the millions of players other mmo's have, or at least didn't when I last played. :-X

I don't think I've seen even a hundred players yet on Calypso, but I didn't join to socialise tbh. Loot's still regular and I have quite a bit of stuff in PSU.
