There's a firm called Kent Garden Railways (http://kentgardenrailways.com/index.php?route=product/category&path=211) that does them, I think...

Those Z gauge loco's are expensive! :o Compared to OO/HO gauge anyway, which is what I dabbled with in my earlier years. Great realism though.

Yes very expensive even in my uncle's time. He used to have a Z-gauge layout in the loft.

Snap! I had a model railway layout in the loft as well, that is my parents loft way-back when, which was also HO-OO scale which was much more affordable for me than Z scale.

Yep HO-OO scale are much cheaper, and easier to see finer detailing as they're bigger.

This is it, but I think the appeal of Z scale or even N scale which is half-way between Z and HO-OO, is the lilliputian effect they give.

True, but you can put a small Z gauge layout in a medium sized display case or on a window ledge. Can't do that with HO-OO.

Yes, that's the main appeal, and detailing is still very realistic imho. I agree though that HO-OO are much cheaper.

Yep, there's no way. For HO-OO you'd need a loft as some have said, or a spare room or something like a shed.

There's 1999 Euros worth in that briefcase excluding shipping! Very neat though.

Not cheap then, but certainly more amusing than a newspaper and a cheese and pickle roll :D

Yeah, I've seen those in briefcases before LOL.

But before they open it the impression is they're carrying important documents, ha, ha!

Maybe there were important docs in it beforehand and the roll is lunch on a budget. ::)
